BX-837A is a compact embedded computer system with powerful CPU and small footprint(outline: 230mm*190mm*56mm(W*D*H) with embedded Intel® Atom™ 1.6GHz low power fanless processor supporting upto 2GB DDR2 memory. BX-837 is also utilising the proven platform of Intel 945GSE&ICH7-M with integrated Intel GMA 950 graphic accelerator to deliver the high quality 3D playbacks. BX-837 use the PHOENIX rugged type connector with selectable 12V or 24V DC input which really simplified the connection in industrial applications. BX-837 is compatible with Windows™ XP,Windows™ XP Embedded,Windows™ 2000 and Linux etc.

The BX-837A use large area fin duraluminium alloy as the heat exchange material which helps to conduct the heat to the outside atmosphere. Meanwhile, for some extreme applications, this unit has two side exhaust fans to evacuate the heat from the internal components. The fans are not neccesary, but they are very helpful to cool down the box PC and extend the MTBF of the electronics inside.

BX-837A has ample IO connects including two 100M ethernet RJ45 connector, six USB2.0, six RS232, one LPT,PS/2,VGA and a decent AUDIO as well as the full support of 2.5" high speed SATA HDD, SDD and DOM etc storage devices. Inside BX-839, a mini-PCIe connector is spared for the WIFI and 3G network setup. With flexible installation mode: onwall,din and desktop, BX-837 features an easy-to-use scalable platform for the applications of factory floor automation,power grid management,machine manufacturing,CNC controll,trafic control and kiosk which need handy box PC with small footprint at reasonable price level.
